Directed by Tom Hanks, Larry Crowne is a comedy movie, centered on a man, who loses his job to ongoing recession. This incident becomes a life-altering event for him and he tries to reinvent himself by going back to college. By going back, he becomes an indispensable part of the seemingly overlooked outcasts, who are craving for a bright future. While he develops bonding with the students of the college, he gets infatuated with his teacher Mercedes Tainot (played by Julia Roberts). She has lost interest in her husband and teaching as well.
